Born in Bergen County, New Jersey and raised in New Canaan, Connecticut, Mark is a proud native of the New York Tri-State area.

After graduating from Indiana University with a Bachelor's degree in English, Mark worked his way up from sales to management positions at ChemPoint, where he helped the technology-savvy chemical distributor grow from $48 million to $325 million in 11 years.

Mark grew an appreciation for the Lowcountry through regular visits over 15 years to see his wife's family, which inspired him to work with his father-in-law, Tom Tolpa, at The Ocean Broker.

Buyers and sellers that have worked with Mark say that he has a strong knowledge of the Hilton Head/Bluffton area, exercises a great deal of patience to make sure his clients achieve their goals, and is committed to setting the correct expectations on properties and transactions so his clients have no surprises.

When he's not at work, Mark is playing jazz guitar, reading mysteries, or taking care of his two daughters at his home in Old Town Bluffton.
